When to pick whom

Both are real options. Pick what fits.

Pick BlueStone if

  • You want published prices and no procurement theatre
  • You're 5–50 staff and don't need a 24/7 call centre
  • You speak Mandarin or work with Chinese-speaking colleagues
  • You've been quoted by Pronet and the discount on like-for-like spec matters

Pick Pronet if

  • You need a 24/7 phone-call helpdesk with named on-call rotations
  • You're 100+ staff with multi-state offices and prefer a larger vendor footprint

Frequently asked

The questions people ask before switching.

Are you saying Pronet is bad? You seem to keep mentioning them.
No. Pronet is a credible Melbourne MSP with 15+ years of operating history and one of the only mid-market players that publishes any pricing. We mention them because they're the public benchmark — comparing prices against an unpublished competitor isn't useful to anyone. If we ever say something inaccurate about them, please email us and we'll correct it.
How can your prices be 25% lower if you're using the same tools?
Three structural choices. First, no commission-paid sales reps — every email comes to a real engineer or the founder, not an SDR. Second, no franchise royalties or three-tier management — overhead stays low. Third, we deliberately stay small. The savings show up as price, not as service cuts. Same backup vendors, same EDR, same Sydney-region infrastructure, same Microsoft Solutions Partner-aligned baseline.
What happens if I want to switch from Pronet to BlueStone?
Standard transition: you give Pronet 30 days notice (per their contract). We start on the same day with a documented inventory of every system, integration and credential. We coordinate the handover so there's no service gap. A typical 25-staff firm completes the move in 4 weeks. We've done this before — the transition is uneventful, which is the point.
What if I'm under contract with Pronet?
If you're under contract, your two options are: wait until the contract end, or negotiate an early exit. Most MSP contracts have notice periods of 30–90 days. We can help you calculate the breakeven point — sometimes paying out a few months' notice is still cheaper over a 12-month horizon, sometimes it isn't. Honest advice either way.
Does the price gap close at higher tiers?
It widens. At Standard tier ($119 vs $160) you save 25%. At Secure+ ($169 vs the typical $200–250 market premium) you save 25–32%. The gap holds because the cost structure is different, not because we're cutting at the high end.
Where are these numbers from?
Pronet's $105 and $160 entry/mid-tier numbers are published on pronet.com.au and verified May 2026. If they update their pricing, we'll update this page. Our own prices are on bluestonetech.com.au/en/pricing — 29 lines, all in. If anything on this page is wrong, email info@bluestonetech.com.au and we'll correct it within one business day.
